A Activision anunciou o novo LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, a sair já nesta Primavera para PC, Playstation 3, Xbox360, Playstation Portable, Nintendo DS e Wii, com muitas novidades.
O Jogo irá decorrer durante a primeira temporada da série animada homónima e com a possibilidade de jogar com as personagens dos anteriores títulos.

 

O Presidente da LucasArts, Darell Rodriguez, declarou que "LEGO Star Wars tem um enorme sucesso perante os fãs, tendo vendido no total mais de 20 Milhões de cópias mundialmente. A LucasArts e a Traveller's Tales estão bastante entusiasmadas em estender a experiência de LEGO Star Wars com mais humor e divertimento, que já estamos habituados dos anteriores títulos."
 
É possível neste título jogar como Jedi ou Separatista, ambos com novas habilidades como Squad Command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber Jumps e grapple tudo com um novo interface simples de usar, novidade é também os novos modos de combate e a possibilidade de construir bases e campos de batalha com um construtor de upgrades.

LEGO Star Wars II: The Clone Wars, estará disponível a primavera de 2010 para PC, PS3, Xbox360, PSP, Wii e Nintendo DS.
